The enclosed protective cover with water cooling system provides a clean working environment and excellent grinding results. ANAB's water cooling system keeps the chain well cooled throughout the entire grinding process, maintaining sharpness for up to 50% longer during sawing. In addition to extended working time, the water cooling system enables a high grinding speed, which increases production rate.
The grinding programme and chain length are selected using the touchscreen control, which also monitors the grinding process. Cutting teeth and drive links are ground in a single motion using patented CBN grinding wheels. The machine automatically recognises whether the teeth are right or left and adjusts the grinding accordingly.
The ANAB X5 Special is also well suited for grinding hard metal, cutter tooth and package saw chains with 15 and 20 mm pitch, and has fully adjustable grinding angles between 0° and 35°.
